Happy St.Patty's Day

Well, Once again, I did go M.I.A. for a few days! I was planning my daughter's 18th birthday party! We all played Laser Tag in Baton Rouge and then we had a huge surprise party waiting for in our youth room at church! So I tried to hang with the youth till 1am, got to bed at 2pm.  Yeah....I felt terrible the next day, took 2 days to recover! Now ya know ya getting old! Well, happy St. Patty's Day! M.I.A.

Where have I been you maybe asking. All over creation. I have never been so busy in all my life! Having a 17yr old is intense! Having a 3yr old is intense. Now the 7mth old is a piece of cake!  I mean give me a 7mth old any day!  Well, I have learned one amazing thing.... You Can Not Do This Without GOD!!!!!!  At least keep your sanity and a loving happy home all at the same time! Oh, I forgot, keeping your husband happy as well! Baby CC

This is my Caroline Claire's 6mth portraits. Everyone calls her "CC".  She is awesome. The most chilled out easy going baby! I could never have dreamed of a better baby. That my friend, is the grace and mercy of God.  Because after Hannah Grace, God surely knew I needed a CC! Oh yeah, and a 17 year old 4mths later!!! Wow... Life is wild!

These are the moments that Sears and JCPenny can't give you... not even your hand held camera for that matter. THis is why I love what I do. I get to capture moments for people.  Moments in time that forever will stand still. They will never be lost or forgotten.  I feel like we miss so much because we are so busy.  We forget the tiny things like the dimples in on our child's hand, the way they look they sleep and so on. I love always getting to look through my camera and seek the moments. I strive to not just "take a picture" basically anyone can do that!  I strive to capture the moment! xoxo, Mb

Well, 11 days till Christmas!!! Love this time of year soooooo much! We have been super busy and getting some great work done!  Shay and I just finished our child specific foster parenting classes so we are happy about that! Christmas Special Time!!!

Day 35 of Flossing

So this is so exicting.  5 more days and I am done with my flossing frenzy!!!!  Anyway, my thought while flossing: I love my pampered chef cooker that cooks 3 chicken breast in 12min.  That is my kind of cookin!  Here are some cuttie patooties!  Enjoy!

Day 22 of Flossing

Well, they say it takes 21 days to make a habit.  I don't know if it works but this will be a true test.  I can honestly say, I am still only doing this b/c I don't want the cavity to grow and b/c of my promise to you all! Thought while flossing...Why do they worry about the distinction of pollar bears so much!  I mean, they run thousand dollar comercials on T.V.  How much does it really cost to save a pollar bear and why don't they use the $ from the T.V. ad to do it.  I think they are nice to look at but why are we so concerned with pollar bears when eveyday children in our own town are getting raped, beat and neglected. I mean, when you look at the two, why aren't there aids for these innocent children?  Hope I don't get pollar bear lovers mad at me but I love children and I just don't get it?  Sorry... this is a pet peave of mine and I could type for hours on this subject. Save our children, then worry about the pollar bear.  Speaking about loving children, this is behind the scenes on one of my shoots.  This is the stuff they don't tell you in school, but I love every minute!

Day 10Flossing

Still don't like it, Day 10, 30 more to go!!!! Thought while flossing: God is awesome! So I had a miracle yesterday!!! I needed a beautiful antique sofa for my formal living room. Shay said we had to wait till after Christmas to purchase one.  I was bumbed out and told God I really wanted one before Christmas so Christmas morning we wouldn't have to sit on the floor to open presents and when friends come over they would have a place to sit.  So I said, "God, I know this is bold but could someone just give us a antique sofa." Well, I used some $ I had been saving for the sofa to buy a jjc kid some clothes and shoes.  Well, I got a phone call that day someone offering us an antique sofa for free!!!!!!!!! How awesome is God!  They even delivered it to our house.  Because it was God, of course it is beautiful, the right color and I love it!!!  God always out does himself but it still amazes me always! xoxo, Mb   Here are some shots of that chunky cuttie patootie!

Day 9 of Flossing

Hey Guys, Flossing o.k. thought while flossing...If I could hook up a lippo suction machine to me while I slept at night, I wouldn't have to spend an hour at the gym everyday and I could use that hour to wash, dry and straighten my hair.  Once it doesn't take me 15min to floss, who knows what could happen, wow, if only I could invent that lippo suction machine!!! Or I guess I could lay off the BLue Bell Ice Cream! haha Speaking up chunkyness, check out this fabulous little momma!!! I am in love.  I could just eat her up.  I will for sure be posting lots of her in the next few weeks!!! xoxo, Mb
