Day 5 Flossing

 To all of you faithful viewers...day 5 of flossing had a ungodly event!!! People who loved me, "I thought, hahaha" told me to get those floss helpers that have floss stretched across that plastic.... You know the little thing I am talking about?????  Anyway, it was horrible. It poped my gums like a sling shot and I got so grossed out!  A little blood... you know the whole gross stuff! So anyway, I realized that was the worst $2.38 I ever spent!!!!  My thought during that process...How bad could dentures really be... do you have to floss dentures and if you do, it's not like it would hurt.  Well, I would like to celebrate my office manager and friend... Mrs. Lonnie Hines.   She has been with us for one year and she rocks!  We love her so much!This is her with her beautiful family and this is her gorgeous son Sage Matthan.  I think he is too pretty to be a boy, I tell Lonnie, he should have been a girl! If you call our studio and talk to someone other than me or Shay it will

Rock Stars!!!

So there dad works during the day at your regular dad job and by night he is a rock star in New Orleans.  He is a drumer in a hard core rock band.  So we decided to do a like father like sons pic.  The other one is there fun rocker family shot.  Yes, for you traditionalist, we did do nice portraits in traditional clothes, but I much rather these! xoxo, Mb 

My 1st Post!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!! I am so excited to have a blog for Mandy Lens' Photography.  We are located in Thibodaux, LA, 315 East 2nd St.  Please check out our website at www.mandylens.com.   I graduated from E.D.White then I traveled all the way to Harvard on the Bayou!  I graduated in Art with a concentration in Photography with a minor in Psychology.  Man, that makes me sound smart.  So I truly love life, and I love photography.  Photographs are all you have when your memory fades away.  My most treasured things are photographs of my "Pops."  They help me remember his loud laugh, which helps me to remember how it made small babies cry, which help me to remember how he cried on the front row of our church during our Passion Play.  You see, photographs are priceless.  You are not paying for a piece of paper.  You are paying for something that generations to come will treasure beyond belief.  This life goes by so fast.  Things are given and taken from us within a blink of an eye.  I take my job so seriously because I look at it as an honor to capture this precious moment forever for you. 

On a happier note, check out our albums and see why Mandy Lens Photography is Rockin it up!  We love our clients so much, I often want to invite them to Christmas Dinner!  Please stalk our blog daily and tell your friends about it!  P.S.  My awesome sister-in-law Vera Grabert Holloway just opened up the coolest scrapbooking store in the south!  Scrapalicious is in Thibodaux on St.Mary Hwy and let me tell you.."it ain't like ya mama's scrapbooking!!!!"  To make it easy, nothing the Holloway girls do is like ya mama's ! lol
